Hello & Goodbye

Farewell

Season 2000/01 sees Junior Blues without four of last year's squad. They are: -

Philip Tomczak - our goalkeeper, who spent most of last season as a spectator.

Sam Pearce - who has gone with his Dad, who helps run Trubshaw Vics, now in our league. Previously, they played in a Saturday league, and so, like several of the other lads, he was able to play for both teams, but alas no longer.

Ben Venables - who was unable to command a regular place in the side, and understandably, he wants to be playing

All three of the above are now playing with Trubshaw Vics..

Danny Gilman - who like Ben, was unable to play regularly, and as far as I know, he is not playing for anyone at all. This is a great pity, because he would be a regular in most other teams.

Sam Corbett has also left us. He went to New Zealand for 12 months, and there was no room in the squad for him when he returned, in January. He is playing for AFC Westwood in the Leek Ladsandads League.

They are all smashing lads, and we wish them well in the future.

Welcome

Tom Bourne - he has joined us from the Leek Ladsandads league, and has slotted into the team very well.

Danny Lawlor - he has joined us from the U11's, and depite being a year younger than everyone else, he looks to be a sound acquisition.

As the season has gone on, we have seen less and less of Danny, and so it seems that he no longer wants to play for us. A pity - more for the lad himself, than for us.

Jamie Robinson - he made his debut in the Milton game on 22/10/00. Previously, he had played for Meir KA.

Chris Leigh - he also made his debut in the Milton game on 22/10/00. Previously, he had played for Meir KA.

Matt Anderson - Matt used to train with us when we were at Under 10 level, and was part of the victorious side that won in Pwllheli. He joins us from Stoke City, and we are glad to have him back.

OTHER EX-PLAYERS

As with all Ex-players, we are sorry to see them leave, but we wish them all the very best, in the future. As far as I know, the information about these players is correct. If, however, you know otherwise, please let me know.

At U10 Level

Paul Millward	Currently playing in Leek Ladsandads, as far as we know.
James Gould	Currently playing in Leek Ladsandads, as far as we know.
Richard Morgan	Currently playing in Leek Ladsandads, as far as we know.
Adrian Dickinson	Currently playing in Leek Ladsandads, as far as we know.
At U11Level
Sam Corbett	Recently returned from New Zealand, and unable to regain his place in the squad, so he is now playing in Ladsandads, for AFC Westwood.
At U12Level
Danny Lawlor	As far as I know, he's not playing for anyone - what a waste.
