Fowler family tree (Rutland, Leicestershire & Peterborough)

As a trial I’ve exported part of my family tree from Generations as a text file then saved it as a web page. If by some chance you’re also related to these people then please get in touch! Contact me at pgr_fowler@yahoo.co.uk .

My wife has spent much more time on her family tree so I’ve a lot of catching up to do.  The “Fowler” side was researched for my uncle about 15 years ago.  I’ve added some names for the “Twelvetree”, “Thompson”, “Lea” and “Weed” branches. I’ve tried to sketch out the tree this spreadsheet to make them easier to understand and the latest list is in this Word document. I’ve tried exporting my tree data as an Ahnentafel Report from Sierra Generations.

The “Fowler” family seem to have come from the Peterborough region of what is now Cambridgeshire but what was part of Northamptonshire for many years. My grandfather, Percy, was born in South Luffenham, Rutland on 8th June 1901. I’ve been advised not to include details for any living relatives because of the potential for their names, birth date etc to be used fraudulently.

As I said, my wife is much further along than me. Here’s a summary of the Spences, Hamiltons, Blacks, Grays, Crawfords, Kerrs, Munros, Airs etc etc – hundreds of names – many of whom came from central Scotland. If you’re related to any of these people then please contact Jacky at jacky_spence@yahoo.co.uk .

We’ve both posted our family trees on Genesconnected.co.uk and Ancestry.com and have already had a couple of people get in touch this way. I’ve also had someone contact me through the Rutnet Forum.
