Barnstaple to Bude, 31st May 97 to 4th June 97. "Suddenly from my left hand side came a crack, banging, whooshing and tinkling of rock. I didn't see which part of the cliff fell away but suddenly I didn't feel so safe..." | |
Bude to Tintagel, 13th September 97 to 18th September 97. "If the coach driver on my way out from Exeter had aspirations of being Damon Hill, it was nothing compared to this would be Miss Schumacher" |

Tintagel to Newquay, 6th June 98 to 11th June 98. "here was another of those round holes in the ground ...and I could hear the sea crashing about in this one. I got as near to the edge as I dared but I couldn't see the bottom. The sides were sheer and looking at the map contours it must have been about 150 feet deep" | |
Minehead to Barnstaple, 5th June 99 to 10th June 99. "The 200m climb up Great Hangman was memorable as hot, long and painful, and also for the small skull on the pathway which added to the atmostphere. Dark clouds and a clap of thunder would have completed the scene." |

Newquay to Lands End, 3rd June 00 to 9th June 00. "A young couple out walking their dog confirmed it was Trevalgan Farm and to follow the signs. This involved going through more fields of bovine livestock. Bullocks." | |
Lands End to Manaccan & Helford, 9th June 01 to 15th June 01. "...after climbing the steps and up the track was a sign pointing down the adjoining road saying 'Free range children and dogs on coastal foot path'" |
