20/1: Two new high resolution CCTV
cameras (with night vision capabilities) are expected to
go live on Leith Walk in March - at junctions with Lorne
Street and McDonald Road, covering effectively the whole
length of the Walk. In addition a mobile unit may operate
in the area. All cameras are monitored 24 hours by
Council's Central CCTV Unit. To request evidence or alert

8/1: the footpath at the small play area near the
new Barratts development will be closed from next week to
allow for the removal of boarding and the construction of
new tarmac footpath. Weather will affect the length of
