Subject: New Street Name for Residential Development @ Broughton
Road
Dear Councillor Davies
Further to our meeting today I can advise that as the street has
vehicular access from Pilrig Gardens, the name Pilrig would
reinforce the local identity and simplify matters for
individuals/services attempting to locate the properties.
The current Pilrigs in use as listed below in red:
Pilrig Cottages
Pilrig Gardens
Pilrig Glebe
Pilrig House Close
Pilrig Place
Pilrig Street
Some suggestions could include:
Pilrig Heights (reflecting the scale of the flatted development)
Pilrig End (the last point or termination of the street)
Pilrig Gait (a way, path or street in a town)
Pilrig Way (a passage, road, street or track; a direction)
I would be obliged to receive you views on a preferred option
once you have had the opportunity to discuss locally.
Trust this is of assistance.
Kind regards
