The house is in the upper village, which has the advantage in summer of being slightly cooler, because the sun drops behind the mountain a couple of hours before sunset. From the terrace on the flat roof there are spectacular views of the coast streching into the distance toweards the Karpaz (the "panhandle") The Turkish coast can be seen on a clear day. The house has its own garden terrace, which is shaded by an almond tree for relaxing out of the midday sun. The terrace is on 2 levels, both large enough for table and chairs. A barbeque is also available. Downstairs, the house has a double bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk beds and a third pullout bed and a bathroom. The bathroom includes a washing machine; instructions from the agent. Bed linen is provided as well as bath towels. Upstairs is essentially one large room with kitchen, dining area, sitting area and access to the roof. The bed settee can be pulled to accomodate an extra 2 people. The kitchen has everything required including cooker, fridge, kettle etc. There are tables and chairs for both terraces and the roof, as well as a sunshade. The house is looked after by the Karmi Service Centre (8222568) who have an office just below the church. They are always on handto deal with any special requests or problems. They will stock the fridge with a few items for your arrival. |
