|
Still not finished the new site, so decide to
post an update to this one. The hit counter has overflowed.
Didnt expect it to reach 5 figures !! I have posted the
updated collection pages. Have recently achieved a long
time ambition - I now own a working Jamma Arcade machine and a
Jamma converted Phoenix board :-). Have also been playing Dark
Cloud on the PS2. Apart from that not had much time for
playing games lately.

| Lack
of Updates |
17.03.2001 |
 |
|
Just realised its a long time since any
updates. Sorry. I've been working on a new web site www.retrocrazy.com
. This site will soon be moved to the new URL (sometime in
April). Don't worry - when I move to the new address this site
will redirect you. I now have access to write
my own CGI Scripts, so i'm working on moving the collection
pages to display based on your selection criteria. You
can see how faw its got by clicking on the above link.

Vectrex !! |
29.01.2001 |
 |
|
I couldn't believe my luck at the boot sale a
couple of weeks ago when I found a boxed Vextrex with one
Boxed Game !!. Couldn't leave it behind. So I now have two
boxed Vectrex's. I`ve found Vectrex games at a boot sale
twice, but never an actual Vectrex :-)

Finally have a Vectrex |
26.11.2000 |
 |
| At Last I finally have got myself a Vectrex.
Been after one of these for a long time now, but at the right
price. See the finds page and the new
vectrex
page for more info. I hope to be able to add some pictures
soon. You really should get yourself one of these. They are
great fun :-) |

 |
| Finally updated the Super Famicom page - there
are now just 2 games that I am unable to identify. Thanks for
all the help I got, especially from Andy whose excellent Super
Famicom page can be found here http://members.nbci.com/famifreak |

Update at Last !! |
22.10.2000 |
 |
Sorry for the lack of updates lately - just been
busy. Updated the finds page today after a bumper day at the
boots.
I`ve also archived the finds older than 01st jan 2000 to
another page to try and improve the loading time of the finds
page. The older finds can be found by clicking on the link at
the bottom of the current finds page. |

21.10.2000 |
 |
| Finally got myself the greatest SNES game ever
!! Been after this one some time, and I finally got a really
nice condition one with instructions and 2 maps. Cost me a
small fortune though. Out comes the US SNES - thats me
sorted for next couple of months. |

24.09.2000 |
 |
| After
a dismal wet day of crap boot sales I decided to tidy my spare
room. I can now see the floor, and get to my scanner. As a
result I've started work scanning some game covers which can
be seen here or on the link on the
left hand side. They are also selectable from actual game on
the relevant collection page. I will be starting to adding
Mega Drive ones soon, and a special page dedicated to Automata
(they made the infamous Spectrum games mostly featuring the
pi-man). |

| Bargain
Basement |
03.09.2000 |
 |
| Just
added a new Bargain Basement
section. Didn't have the time or inclination to keep the sale
list up to date (the ZX Spectrum games remaining on there are
pretty accurate). So now the bargain basement is made up of
selected items with thumbnail pictures which you click on for
more details and a larger picture. They are priced with fixed
price shipping charges. |

18.08.2000 |
 |
| Don't
know whats up with me - I've done even more mods tonight.
There's now a guestbook along the left hand side of the page,
and I'm desperate for someone to test it for me. So please
sign the guestbook. |

| Links
Wanted |
18.08.2000 |
 |
| I've finally got around to
sorting out my links page. You can now add your a link to your
site from my page YOURSELF !! Select my Links page on the left
and then select "Add Your Own Link". It is moderated
meaning that I will get an email asking me to approve the link
after which it will become visible. I would appreciate if in
return you would add a link to my site on your own site :-) If
you would prefer me to add the link myself then email
with your webpage URL. |

| Super
Famicom Stuff |
23.07.2000 |
 |
| I've picked up 15 Super
Famicom games today. They are all unboxed, but five of
them have instructions and one had just a map. The other 9 are
just the game carts on their own. I also have strangely
another 9 instruction books which don't go with any of them. I
was disappointed as there are instructions for Final Fantasy 6
but no actual cart. My problem is that there are still 7 games
I can't identify and also three of the additional instruction
books that I would like to know what the English version of
the game is called or what the title translates to in English.
I have put scans on a web page here of
all of the carts and manuals. If anyone can identify any then
I would very grateful. Please
email me if you can help |

 |
| Hi, I'm celebrating today after
finally getting myself a copy of this hard to find ZX Spectrum
game by Automata. Been wanting this one for ages. There are
still many other games by Automata that im looking for, mostly
featuring the infamous pi-man. Check out
my wants list. Thanks Andy :-) |

| Happy New
Year |
09.01.2000 |
 |
| I`d like to wish
all visitors a Happy New Year. What games is
everyone playing. I`ve finished Pokemon (Blue) on
the gameboy and am not sure what to play next on
the Gameboy. I`ve tried Bomberman Quest - avoid
at all costs, worse game i`ve played for ages.
Also tried Biomotor Unitron on the Neo Geo Pocket
Color, but it soon becomes tedious and boring. |

| ZX Spectrum
Clearout |
07.11.1999 |
 |
| I realise that
it`s along time since I last updated this front
page. Sorry. I have been sorting through my ZX
Spectrum collection (Software only i`m afraid),
and have decided to part with many of the budget
titles from my collection, as well as some of the
later big box style games, and a few that I had
as cassette only. The Spectrum software list on
my sale page is now 100% upto date. Sorry for the
delays when some of you have asked about these in
the past. Spectrum wise i`m
concentrating on the older original titles (with
a few exceptions when the game rocks). I`m
particularly looking for anything released by
Automata (Pimania etc), early Ultimate play the
game titles such as Pssst and Cookie. I have
added these and a few others to my wants list.
In addition to
the above i`m always looking for anything not
already in my collection, specifically Sega
Master System.
The
Intellivision, mentioned below has gone to a good
home (thanks Matt) and helped to expand my Sega
Master System collection.
What games is
everyone playing at the moment ? I`ve been
playing Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast, Pokemon
(Blue) on the Gameboy, Jetpac on the Spectrum,
Atomic Bomberman and BoxWorld (very addictive
puzzler!) on the PC and Mystic Quest Legend on
the SNES.

| Clearout Sale |
05.07.1999 |
 |
| I`m hopefully
going to be moving house soon, and I need to get
rid of most of my trade stuff. The Sale list can
be found here. I`m
also like to off load my Intellivision setup
- this is inludes a working intellivision, a
boxed intellivoice and 40 boxed intellivision
games. |

| Welcome to
the New Look |
15.06.1999 |
 |
| Welcome to my
new look homepage. The main purpose of this site
is to ilustrate my love of Video Gaming and my
video game collection, and also to be able to
trade / sell some of my duplicates and to clear a
bit of much needed space. I`m hoping to expand it
soon to cover further elements of Video Gaming. |

Atari 2600 in 1999 ! |
15.06.1999 |
 |
| Came across a
feature on the Atari 2600 at gamecenter.com. They
describe it as 'Revisit a kinder, gentler time in
History, when monochromatic mosters held the
power to startle us out of our wits'. I`ll
let you decide for yourself. |
