I have been making lace since 1993 and teaching lace since 1997. I teach 2 Adult Education classes in Southwick and Horsham in West Sussex UK, and a young lacemakers group. You will find pictures of my work and that of students and friends by clicking on the tabs above.
In 2001 I began a City and Guilds course - Creative Studies Lace Making (Part 1). This was to further my own skills and has proved very interesting and enjoyable. You will find images of work from the course by clicking on the 'City & Guilds' tab above.
I hope you enjoy looking at our work.
This splendid piece belonged to the mother of one of my students. It probably dates from the late 19th century and is thought to be a design by Thomas Lester or one of his contemporaries. Any comments would be welcome by emailing me. If you would like to see the stole in more detail please click here.
It was found in a workbox and I do not know what it is! If you know, please email me and let me know. Thank you.
