Care Instructions
From time to time the furniture will need to be waxed. This should be done using a soft cloth and bees wax. You should then allow 1 hour before buffing using a new soft cloth. Always buff in the direction of the grain.
Any food or drink spills should be wiped off immediately with a dry cloth. If afterwards the wood is marked, gently rub down with extra fine wire wool in the direction of the grain. Once the marking is cleared you will need to wax over using beeswax.
This type of furniture should be kept away from direct sunlight or from a source of heat. This will help to avoid any movement in the joints or cracking in the wood.
Hot or cold dishes should not be placed directly on to the surface of any piece furniture. Always use coasters and mats. Protect your investment!
Finally, all of our furniture is freshly waxed before despatch. Sometimes there may be a small amount of residue wax left. This should be wiped gently using a soft cloth.
