Why not become a member now ????

• The Early Dance Circular :  

  This informal newsletter contains news, views and reviews pertaining to Early Dance, with comment and debate, as well as previews of forthcoming events.
  It is sent to members three times a year - in January, May and September.




•  The Diary or Early Dance Events : 

  The Diary lists performances, workshops, summer schools and other Early Dance events such as lectures and conferences, as well as regular classes, both throughout the UK and overseas. 
  It is sent to members three times a year - in March, July and November.




• Advanced notification of events:

The six regular mailings made to members each year normally also contain publicity material and booking forms for other Early Dance events, including those not hosted by EDC.

• Discounted prices for events organised by the EDC, including the Early Dance Festival, which is held in the autumn each year at different venues around the UK.

• Publicity

Your own events can be publicised through the EDC by -

▪      free listing in the Diary of Early Dance Events, 

       e-mail the details to - Dianacruic@aol.com 

▪      enclosing your own publicity material in one of the regular mailings

(£3 for members;  £5 for non-members).

• Insurance

Insurance cover is available for events done for, or in association with, the Early Dance Circle.

How to join the Early Dance Circle

There are four types of membership: 

·         Full Membership

Full Members enjoy all the general benefits of membership, plus voting rights.

The annual membership fee is currently  £17.50. 

·         Associate Membership

Associate Members enjoy all the general benefits of membership (but often at a lower discount than Full members), but without voting rights.

The annual membership fee is currently £10.00. 

·         Couple Membership

This comprises Full Membership for both, but with only a single set of papers in all mailings.

The annual membership fee is currently £27.50. 

·         Group Membership

This comprises one Full Membership plus up to nine Associate Memberships.  All such members must be named.

The annual membership fee is currently £80.00.

This type of membership becomes profitable for a group of six or more members. 

Additional members (i.e. beyond the original ten) can be added at £5.00 a head.
