Another poor performance from a Primrose side that although changing every week still
shows little sign of wanting to play as a team and look out for each other.
Players awol because they don't like being told how to do things and a general
attitude around the pitch that someone else will get it and from a spectators
point of view its very disappointing. Newburgh went in at half time 1 up and within 10 minutes of the start had picked up and converted 2 penalties to effectively seal the game. Primrose were thrown a life-line 20 minutes from time when the Newburgh keeper had to leave the pitch after pulling his hamstring but they couldn't find the inspiration needed to even challenge the makeshift keeper. So Primrose end the day at the bottom of the league and its just about where we should be on todyas performance. Primrose: Coull, Mullen, Tillier, Stone, Patrick, Sneddon, Sykes, Laing, Osborne, Cusick, Deans Subs: Tosh, Brown, Taylor, Cowbrough, Shepherd Newburgh: Melia, Warner, Forsyth, Milne, Budd, Kowbel, Sibanda, Reilly, Fraser, Jay, Johnson Subs: Campbell, Soutar, Pratt, Forrest Ref: Mr. M. Gill Man of the match: Matty Sykes narrowly over Steven Patrick. Both guys had a terrific work rate |
