Crossgates came back from behind twice to take the points at Kelty today.

Kelty were 1 up within 2 minutes when ex Primrose player Steven Sharp got on the end of a pass and slotted the ball past new signing Ryan Houston in goal for Crossgates. The ref blew for offside and pointed to the six yard box but when Kelty ignored this and celebrated their way back to the half way line the ref changed his mind and decided that he'd let the goal stand.

5 minutes later and Crossgates got level when Grant Laing pounced on a spilled save by the Kelty keeper.

Midway through the first half and Webster got sent off for Kelty when he kicked Primrose player Ash.
Primrose never used the advantage and a few minutes from half time when they failed to push out Sharp got on the end of a nicely weighted cross to put Kelty ahead again.

Houston was called on twice to make good saves when Kelty broke through at this time, one he turned onto the post which then shot across the goal and no Kelty players were able to get on the rebound the other he had to step behind his line to keep the ball out.

At the start of the second half Sykes came on for Patrick but only lasted 6 minutes before his hamstring gave out and Houston made a fine double save to keep the Primrose in the game.

Crossgates struggled to use the extra player advantage until 15 minutes from time when Blacks shot was saved, Deans' rebound was also saved but Black then managed to force the ball over for the equaliser.

Five minutes from time and Black got on the end of a long ball and tore through the Kelty defence before calmly slotting the ball away for his second of the match.

This was the least impressive performance by the Primrose in 3 weeks but the first we've taken any points from. It was good to see the boys fight for every ball and not to let the heads go down when they lost the goals.
