Crossgates started the first half with the wind and put a lot of pressure on the Dundonald defence. 30 minutes into the half and a long ball from Millar was flicked on from Sykes to Osborne who chipped Rann in the Bluebell goal.

Four minutes later Millar and Sykes again provided the opportunity for Osborne who this time scored from 25 yards with a well struck shot that left the keeper rooted to his line.

Bluebell with the wind had a bit of the play in the second half and their inswinging corners proved a bit tricky but the Primrose defence held firm.

Crossgates continued to make inroads but seemed intent on walking the ball into the net instead of taking a crack. Sykes came close when he chipped the keeper but as it was hit quite delicately one of the Bluebell defenders was able to get back and clear the shot.

10 minutes from time a well struck Dundonald shot was brilliantly saved by Smith in the Primrose goal who got down quickly to his right.

Neil McLeod, looking to score for the second week in a row, had a snap shot from 40 yards 5 minutes from time which gave Rann, who had wandered from his line, something to think about.
