Some good news before this match. Andy Skea who was injured during Saturdays game between these teams has suffered no permanent damage to his knee and should be back training in 4 to 5 week. It also appears that the Primrose have been awarded the points from that game as we were winning when it was abandoned.

Dalkeith came out the hungriest at the start of this game and some early presure paid off when Bonnar picked up a misjudged Westgarth pass back and beat Smith in the Primrose goal after inly 10 minutes.

Two minutes later and a Matt Sykes put over a super cross that was headedover the 6 foot plus Duke by the substantially smaller Steve Patrick. However the ref disallowed the goal for a foul on the keeper which means that Steve must have been penalised for standing on his shadow!!

A few minutes later and Sykes again set up Patrick but this time the header went over. Dalketh broke from here and Smith pulled of a fantastic save from a point blank shot.

On 35 minutes Dalkeith got a corner and Primrose for the umpteenth time this season again lost a goal to a cross. Bonnar again scoring for Dalkeith.

However before the end of the half Matt Sykes had levelled the score with two typical striker goals. The first came from a cross from the right and the second from a cross from the left, both times the ball spilled to him and he showed no hesitation in smacking them both home.

The second half was fairly end to end stuff but two goals from Stuart Foster killed of Dalkeith. The first was a well worked goal with Stuart getting on the end of 4 or 5 well worked passes before deftly sticking it away. The second was a superb solo effort that saw his shot from 25 yards get parried into the top right corner of the net by Duke, who could only get a hand to it.

Dalkeith had a few chances but Smith was solid at the back and again had another super save when the striker was through with just the keeper to beat.
