A scrappy game on the whole in blustery conditions. Both teams created some chances but it was a John Burt wonder strike that split the teams. Midway into the first half and when Dundonald cleared their lines from a corner they must have thought the danger was away but the ball fell to Burt around 10 yards in the Dundonald half, he took a touch and then struck it on the volley where it screamed into the Dundonald goal off the underside of the bar.
