Todays match sadly started with a minutes silence for young 19 year old Kelty Hearts player Gareth Blackadder who was sadly killed this morning in a car crash. The Primrose offer their deepest sympathy to his family and club.

Steelend got off to a flyer and scored in five minutes when Love headed downa free kick which Bennett converted. Five minutes later it was two when Love again set up a chance which MacAllen took with a fine overhead kick.

The rest of the half was a dull afair.

Steelend again started better in the second half and within a few minutes Gary Peddie scored with a fine drive low into the corner from the edge of the box.

A few minutes later and Ross McKenzie was caught in two minds from a Steelend corner and scored an unfortunate own goal (the clubs third in 4 games).

It took until th elast 25 minutes for the Primrose to start to believe in them selves and a fine pass from Mike Brown to Steve Patrick paved the way for Gary Osborne to score.

Two minutes or so later and Iain Mullen broke down the left and linked with Deans who put a ball through that Raymond Brown flicked over the keeper.

Gary Osborne was then bundled over in the box and Mike Brown scored from the spot.

Then came the killer blow when Ravenscroft broke down the left and sliced a cross that could have gone anywhere but went into the far corner of the Primrose goal.

Primrose pressed hard and picked up another penalty when a defender handled in the box. Miek Brown scored this too but in the end they had left just a little to much to do.

Barring miracles the Primrose will finish the season in bottom spot.
