Played poor tonight.

Lost the first goal in five minutes when one of the Penicuik trialists scored.

Jason Young got the second around twenty five minutes in.

James Lakie brought down an attacker just at the end of the first half and Montgomery scored from the resulting penalty.

In the second half Lakie got dragged down just outside his own box and then was booked for retaliating. The free kick somehow was given to Penicuik and Ure scored when his shot was deflected in.

Just at the dearth Young had a snap shot that was going well wide until it hit Hobbs who couldn't get out of the way and it went in for the visitors fifth.

The end of a disappointing season. The team get told every week to talk to each other but game after game they get mixed up with players going for the same ball or not getting a shout for a pass or a man on.

They get free kicks and the ball on the edge of the box and despite practicing taking shots from the edge of the box no-one wants to have a crack and they either run out to the corners and then play a high ball in to our short strike force or try and walk the ball into the net. When they play the ball on the deck they're second to none (ask EAST FIFE)

The defence hate crosses and corners and 90% of the goals against us this season have come from them.

That said, I'll be there next year rain or shine. C'MON THE PRIMROSE!!!

Ref: Mr. William Conquer*** One of our better refs. His usual fair self. One point, I've heard him say before in games that its hard when he has no assistants. Well tonight he had two and he'd probably have managed as well without them.
