Crossgates took Hill of Beath apart in the first ten minutes of the game and were two up from goals by Gary Osborne and new signing Lee Black.

The first was a well worked corner between Deans and Black that was headed on by Millar to Osborne. The second was a well struck shot from Black.

Just before the end of the half Grant Laing nearly made it three when his 25 yard effort hit the post.

For some reason we decided to sit back in the second half and when the keeper could only parry a shot from Andy Roberts it rebounded of defender James Lakie and this gave the visitors heart.

They got it level with around five minutes to go with a goal by Grant Cunningham and then pushed for a winner.

Lee Black took a knock and when the sub went on the manager asked the ref how long to go and was told about 30 seconds. 3 MINUTES later Tam Courts handled the ball and then shot, the keeper got to it but could only parry it into the top corner.

A bitter pill to swallow, when the game should have been over but then again we should never have let them get back into the game so that this could happen.

That's two weeks in a row now that we've let a lead slip away, if we're good enough to be leading at half time why change a winning formula?
