| Pipercross induction kit | by Foura |
An alternative to a modified air box is
an induction kit. This replaces the whole airbox assembly with a high flow air filter
assembly. An ideal way to do this is to use the Pipercross vortex unit which is a foam air
filter cone mounted on to a spun aluminium bellmouth. |
|
The filter uses the original rubber elbow to attach it to the air flow meter. |
|
This is secured to the airflow meter with a jubilee clip to hold it secure. |
|
...and that is it. The
complete assembly can be bolted to the original airbox mounting bracket to hold it secure
- in this location the filter is mounted securely but still allows the bonnet to close
properly. |
