Loch Leven, a fiord-like inlet of Loch Linnhe, lies on the boundary between Argyllshire and Inverness-shire. From the northern shore there is a fine view of the Pap of Glencoe (above), standing sentinel above the famous Pass of Glencoe. To the north of Loch Leven rise the Mamore Hills.
