Who needs "Banned in Boston" when you can be "Banned in Berkeley.EDU"? If we were to make our own movie, we would definetely need a cool soundtrack for it. Unfortunately, people's tastes in music vary too much. We'd probably end up with a wierd mix of stuff like The Who's "Netrek Wizard," AC/DC's "Big Disks," Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Fill your Disk," Genesis's "The Way we Wall," TMBG's "FoodP Bell," Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Walled on Soda," "At the End of the Disk" from Les Mis, and "Ogging Style" by Snoop Doggy Dogg. Hopefully we'd be able to get by without Billy Ray's "Achy Breaky Disk." I would personally vote for David Bowie's "Disk-Space Oddity" as the theme song for the whole thing. You've all heard that one, right? You haven't? Well, it goes something like this: Politburo to Mojo Tom, Politburo to Mojo Tom, Take root's password and use it to log on. Politburo to Mojo Tom Commencing slowdown, ho's cl is now on Check partitions and may the force be with you. This is Politburo to Mojo Tom, You've really made free space And the users want to to know if they can put gif's there Now it's time to leave the console if you dare. "This is Mojo Tom to Politburo I'm stepping through the logs And they list things in a most peculiar way But the disks look no different today. For here am I sitting by a fast Mac Far across the bay Soda's kernel is fu And there's nothing I can do. Though VM's past one hundred thousand K Ho's CL is running still And I hope Mehlhaff knows just what to do. Tell yer mom I love her very much she knows." Politburo to Mojo Tom The network's dead, there's something wrong. Can you hear me Mojo Tom? Can you hear me Mojo Tom? Can you hear me Mojo Tom? Can you.... "Here I am logged in from netcom Far across the bay Soda's kernel is fu And there's nothing I can do..."
