The Bon Jovi Tracks Equivalent

Back before Christmas, one of New Jersey’s other legends, Bruce Springsteen, finally gave fans what they had been asking for, a 4 cd set of officially unreleased original songs and Bruces versions of songs he had written for numerous other stars including Southside and Patti Smith. Although many of these songs had been regularly bootlegged, there was still enough material in the archives to churn out unheard Springsteen songs. So this got me to thinking, what if Jovi finally listened and released a compilation of demos, unreleased, unheard material? Obviously the Digital remasters could have been the place to do it, but a standalone product would be so much better, it’d almost feel like a whole new Jovi album!! So heres my shot at what it may look like, remembering that The Power Station Years is already out there, and not owned by Polygram or the band, so therefore technically shouldn’t be included. Also, this is only from material that I know exists, obviously there would be unheard of stuff but since I’m not telepathic, we’ll have to rely on the information available:

Disc 1
Disc 2
Disc 3
Dangerzone
Love is War
Prostitute
Heart of America (Live)
Lets Make It Baby(voicebox)
Lifes Too Short For Days......
Hardest Part Is The Night (acoustic)
Growing Up The Hard Way
Wedding Day
Never Say Goodbye (demo w Richie on vocals)
Judgement Day
When She Comes
Borderline
Now & Forever
The End
Edge of a Broken Heart
Rosie (full band demo)
Lonely At The Top
Too Much Too Soon
Backdoor To Heaven
Starting All Over Again
Game of the Heart
In America
Fields of Fire
Thief In the Night
Drive
Every Word (Dave Stewart remix)
Take Me Home
Diamond Ring (original demo)
August 7 (acoustic demo)
Lonely Is The Night
Does Anybody Really Fall In Love Anymore
Maybelline (Richie demo)
The Promise
We All Sleep Alone
You Never Really Know (Richie)
Walk Don’t Run
Cadillac Man
Sad Song Night
Deep Cuts The Knife
House of Fire
Blood Money (org lyrics version)
Stand Up
River of Love (band not Richie)
Good Guys (org demo)
Livin On A Prayer (original demo)
Love For Sale (original demo)
In My Dreams (Tico vocals)

and there you have it, basically Disc 1 is 1985/86, Disc 2 is the Jersey period and Disc 3 is life afterwards, demos and b sides from KTF, These Days and solo projects, the exciting bit for me is what would be on disc 4, the stuff we don’t yet know about!!
