Welcome to Optillusion Fx. Optillusion FX studio's was set up in 2004 by special effects make-up artist Stephen Chambers and Carol chambers to meet the growing needs for special effects make-up in the west midlands area. Our studio is based in the heart of the west midland in the city of Worcester, famous mainly for it's sauces and porcelain china. Located in the west midlands, 28 miles south of Birmingham, exit from J6 or J7 on the M5. We are on the London to Hereford mainline, there are two stations you can exit the train from Shrub hill or Foregate street both are within easily reach of Worcester city centre. Optillusion FX studios are only 2 miles from the city centre and can be easy reached by bus or taxis. Our large studios are customised to accommodate our special effects make-up production and also our special effects training centre. Over the past 10 years Stephen Chambers has trained over 400 students some of whom have gone on to work for companies such as Millennium FX, owned and run by world renowned make-up FX wizard Neill Gorton with credits in both film and television such as the new DR Who series and Little Britain. Stephen Chambers has over 20 years of in the field of Special Effects make-up gained from his involvement within the Special Effects industry. Highly skilled in all areas of producing prosthetics in all the latest materials available to the industry. |
