One of RSC’s
young swimming teachers, Natalie Hooper, has reached the final stage
in a competition to find the area’s “Real Sporting Hero”, organised
by BRMB/BMI Baby. If she wins she gets a prize and Redditch Swimming
Club gets £1000! This would be a big help to the club which you may
be surprised to hear receives no external funding and spends upwards
of £500 per week on pool hire, and so has little money left to pay
for training courses for teachers and other development activities.
So not asking
for a contribution! BUT if you could please go to the following
