Report Stratford Girls Gala Saturday 24^th June 2006

Redditch Swimming Club was only 5 points off coming third in a very competitive girls’ gala held in Stratford on Saturday, after some excellent swimming they came a very respectable 4^th place.

The only first place of the evening, in the second half, went to Lydia May (10) in the 2L freestyle.

Second places went to individual swimmers Nicola Moss (9) 1L free, Hannah Rolls (11) 2L breaststroke, Jessica Nice (15) 3L free and Rachel Jones (16+) 3L butterfly.

Third places went to Cassandra Robinson (11) & Sam Lindsay (10) 2L backstroke, Bethany May (13) 3L free,  Nicola Moss (9) 1L fly, Lucy Edwards (15) & Michaela Britt (13) 3L breast, Hannah Rolls (11) 2L fly and Danielle Harwood (13) 3L fly,

Relay swimmers adding second places were Emma Hardacre, Cassie Robinson, Hannah Rolls, Lydia May, Nicola Moss, Danielle Harwood, Jessica Nice, Rachel Jones, Charlotte Hooper, Clara Parker, Caitlin Green, Elizabeth Humpreys, Michaela Britt and Bethany May.

Third places were gained by Lydia May, Nicola Moss, Hannah Rolls, Danielle Harwood, Rachel Jones, Suzanne Britt, Stephanie, Jessica Nice, Emma Green, Caitlin Green, Clara Parker, Emma Hardacre, Elizabeth Humpreys, Vicki Crisp and Jenny Fleeman in the relays.

Also swimming for Redditch Swimming Club was Harriet Jarvis (10).
