Diddy ‘B’ Trophy Gala

 Redditch swimming club came fifth in the Diddy ‘B’ Trophy Gala on Saturday 4^th February, the team swam really well but the other clubs had stronger teams.  

The only 1^st place of the evening went to 9 year old Nicola Moss who swam the 1 length breaststroke and also achieved a 2^nd place in the 1 length butterfly. Daniel Bridgman also 9 got a 2nd in the 1 length butterfly and 1 length backstroke. Further 2nd places were gained by 10yr olds Taylor Hartley 50m backstroke, Ben Young, 50m freestyle and Sumant Kapoor 11yr 50m freestyle.

 Third places went to Charlotte Hooper 9yr 1 length freestyle, 10year olds Samantha Lindsay and Joshua Major-Seager 1 length butterfly,  Lucy Cordon 50m freestyle and Harriet Jarvis 50m breaststroke. Cassandra Robinson 11yr took 3^rd place in the 50m breaststroke as did 12yr Luke Young and Michaela Britt 50m butterfly.

Second places went to relay racers Ben Young, Joshua Major Seagor, Taylor Hartley, Arran Holmes, Cassandra Robinson, Bethany Austin, Clara Parker and Hetty Mosforth. 

Relay swimmers gaining third places were Bethany Austin, Cassandra Robinson, Hetty Mosforth, Flossie Eglinton, Daniel Bridgman, Chris Sutton-Smith, Ben Young, Joshua Major-Seagor, Tyler Sherwood, Sumant Kapoor, Chris Ball, Luke Young, Nicola Moss, Clara Parker, Taylor Hartley and Michaela Britt.

Swimmers gaining new times were Samantha Richards and Emily Cordon and Caitlin Green and Melissa Wood gained new personal bests.
