Sittingbourne Odyssey (27 June 2003)
On a hazy summer afternoon in June, I set off on cycle from Sittingbourne to Ash, a total distance of 34 miles along winding country lanes, through the "Garden of England" and across The Downs.
A selection of photos that I took en route are presented below. For completeness, the route was:
Sittingbourne - Dungate - Erriotwood - Painter's Forstal - Sheldwich - Hogben's Hill - Selling - Old Wives Lees - Shalmsford Street - Street End - Lower Hardres - Pett Bottom (!) - Bishopsbourne - Adisham - Goodnestone - Staple - Ash
