| About Us:- Stephen started making bobbins in 1981 as a sideline to his violin repair business. Much to his surprise this rapidly became his full time occupation. In 1994 he married Hilary, a lacemaker. She provided new impetus to the business, helping with painting the bobbins and spangling. She has also come up with several new ideas for bobbin designs. In 2004 Stephen decided to work for a friend in a local business but the demand for his bobbins was such that he decided to return to full time bobbin making in 2007.
