 Welcome to the website of the Portuguese Railways
Group, a group of British railfans. Many choose Portuguese
Railways for a number of locomotive classes be they English,
French or American exports. There's a lot more to Portuguese
railways than these, and the interests of the PRG go wider
than just diesels. Several PRG members spent the years after
the end of British steam chasing Portuguese steam: the
current interest in Portuguese diesels is another case of
full circle.
