Thurso Angling Section

The Season 2003 has started with the Watten Cup. All boats are out with the exception of Olginey.

Welcome to the opening page of the Angling Section of the Royal British Legion (Scotland) Thurso Branch. Today it remains a large fishing club within the Caithness Community and has many competitions held throughout the year. The Section has seven boats on five lochs. All Boats have Seagull Outboard Motors available. Several other lochs are available for bank/wading. The Section comprises of :-

Fly Fishing & Sea Fishing

Both types of fishing are open to all the members of the Angling Section under a booking system to ensure everybody has their fair share. The Angling Section members are allowed one non-member to fish once a month up to 3 months. We hold Competitions for both types and all members of the Angling Section are eligible to enter.
