The Society is run on a non-profit basis. However, as running costs are not insignificant, we charge what we feel is a fair rate for events, most of which is used to pay the expenses incurred in transporting people and equipment. The rate is usually based on the number of participants - more information can be provided on request.
We have our own public liability insurance.

We can provide entertainment for banquets, feasts and period weddings, with either a christian or pagan setting.
Members of the Conroi are available for filming, photo shoots and theatre, either as individuals or as a whole group depending on your requirements. We provide our own authentic costumes thus saving on wardrobe hire, and provide our own authentic weapons - we are all thoroughly safety trained in their use, particularly when using them against performers who are less familiar with them. Many of our members are experienced riders, although we do not supply mounts or tack. We have contacts should you require trained animals, period horses or birds of prey.
While we are a historically accurate band of soldiers and civilians portraying 12th Century life, we also have a sense of fun and are equally at home in unusual or humerous scenarios.
Invite a Norman Knight into your classroom and let him tell you about the crusades, the triumph of the Norman invasion and a first hand account of the Battle of Hastings. The knight will bring with him his complete authentic kit and explain and demonstrate all of its uses and manufacture. Where possible we will also provide child-size examples of clothes, helmets and shields to allow students to assume their own characters.
