Exercise 6 – Decorating Provided by David G Edwards

1. Open Microsoft Word and enter the following text

RE-DECORATING A HOUSE

Home decoration opens up great possibilities for the practical, for not only is the work easy, but there is something concrete to show for the labour.

If the worker is a novice he should start work on a relatively unimportant room to gain confidence.

The importance of obtaining the very best materials cannot be over-emphasised, as good work cannot be expected from cheap and usually inferior materials, be they paint, wallpaper or anything else.

2. Check your work for errors

3. Save the document on your floppy disk as Exercise 6

4. Print one copy of the document

5. Delete the folders Sample, Cabbage and Manchester from your floppy disk

6. Create a new folder on your floppy disk called Word Processing

7. Put a copy of Exercise 6 in the folder Word Processing

8. Close Microsoft Word
