ECDL (S4) Mod 3: Word Processing – 2. Recipe (2) Author: Tom Whitehouse

1. Open Microsoft Word and then the file Mushroom Pie from your floppy disk

2. Create a new blank document so that you have 2 documents open. (Note: Use the New Blank Document icon on the standard toolbar)

3. Copy the last part of Mushroom Pie starting from the sub-heading Ingredients and paste it into the top of the new document. (Note: Change between documents in the taskbar)

4. Set all the margins in the new document to 4 cm. (Note: Use the File / Page Setup menu option)

5. Add footer to the new document containing the text: This is the list of ingredients for Mushroom Pie (Note: Use the View / Header and Footer menu option)

6. Save your work to your floppy disc using the filename Extract and print a copy

7. Close both of the open documents (Extract and Mushroom Pie)

8. Close down Microsoft Word
