parish in 1881, a new church by Edward Simpson was opened in March 1890.

Canon Motler of St Mary's built a school chapel in Grafton Street in May
1868. The new parish of St Joseph's established November 1881. A new church by

St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church
In 1850 Canon Thomas Harrison began the building of a second church for
Bradford. The church, designed by George Goldie, was opened by Bishop Briggs on
13 July 1853. It was consecrated by Cardinal Logue of Amagh on 11 July 1903.
