 Karen
Taylor trained as a Beauty Therapist at the Park School of
Beauty in Retford, Nottinghamshire and qualified in 1988
after completing I.T.E.C. courses in Aestheticienne,
Aromatherapy, Electrolysis and Anatomy and Physiology and
C.I.B.T.A.C. courses in Beauty Therapy (Distinction) and
Electrolysis (Credit).
In 1991
Karen opened Absolute Hair & Beauty - a highly reputable and
very successful salon in Shrewsbury. During these 7
years, many new Beauty Therapists and College Students were
taught various
aspects of Beauty Therapy and the Beauty Business in
general. The Salon was sold in 1998 to enable Karen to
have a
career break pending the arrival of her second child.
During
your course, not only
will you learn how to carry out the beauty treatments of
your choice, but you will also be given invaluable advice on
setting up your mobile, home or salon business, ideas for
advertising and promoting your business. Also, useful
contacts for equipment, products, uniforms etc and
much more. You will also be able to contact Karen whenever necessary should you have any concerns
regarding any aspect of the course or business advice.
