BURNETT extracts from Indexes to
Administrations in Act Books at York Registry
No distinction was made between the BURNET and BURNETT
variants of the surname when compiling this list but entries which
had the surname with the ..ITT ending are indicated. Modern spelling
of forenames and place names has been used throughout. These extracts
were taken from indexes originally published by Yorkshire Archaeological
Society in their “Records” series.
The original documents were written in Latin - I have made
transcripts and translations of those marked with an *asterisk Send
e-mail for details.
