Austin Seven 8628 JH	My first car, a mini actually, but the early ones were called Austin Seven's or Morris Mini Minor's. Written off when someone ran into the back of me when I was waiting in a queue of traffic
Morris Oxford III 206 PMM	The perfect car
Austin Mini UPM 366	I had this car for years and did some competitions in it, eventually fitted an 1100 engine
Singer Gazelle	This finally expired in the Forest of Dean when on holiday in 1974
Austin Cambridge	I know that I had a manual one which was transplanted into the automatic, but I'm not sure if it was ever a runner
Austin Cambridge xxxx KP	This one was an automatic to start with, but I changed the engine and gearbox for the manual one. Possibly the first car I ever sold, most of them have been run into the ground
Ford Corsair aaa xxx H	Blew the head gasket's on this one and it was never the same again
Austin Mini MML 743 L	I replaced the rear subframe on this one with the one I'd saved from UPM 366. I even sold this one, but not as a runner
Morris 1800 HEH 320 D	A very nice car, but someone had stripped the sump plug thread and it used to leak oil
Opel Kadett B aaa xxx L	A nice solid car, but family needs dictated something better. Christine drove this on the sands at Borth, but forgot to use the clutch when she put it into reverse!
Fiat Strada 70CL C 838 UEH	Owned from new!! Had it from 1985 to 1994. Mechanically OK, but rusted on the bodywork
Metro City X E 75 GEH	Owned from new, bought for Christine. Again mechanically OK, but rusty front wings
Ford Fiesta 1.4 Ghia G 140 BVT	Bought from someone Christine used to teach with and sold to someone Christine used to teach
Mazda 626 GLX D 559 FBF	Alas this is no more. I had a disagreement with a wall and the car although not too badly damaged and still driveable was written off by the insurance company. Still they did give me £400 for it, and it had done over 146000 miles.
Fiat Punto 90 elx M 47 LFJ	Christine's current car. Bought from a friend who has gone to New Zealand. The electric locking packed up two weeks after we bought it
Mazda 626 GLX E 730 TOF	Bought as a replacement for my previous Mazda, but a bit of a shed. Spent a lot of money getting it OK, then the head gasket went and the garage said it might not last much longer. Gave it to a friend who needed a car, but the head gasket went again, shame as the rest of it was OK
Mazda 626 2.0i GLX N 368 WRC	My current car. Very nice, but according to the insurance company it can't exist as they never made that model in that year. Had to get them to ring Mazda UK before thay believed me.
