For those of you who may be wondering what has happend to the Druidspear website, rest asured that a shining new version will soon be available as part of the Anew Music web site. This new site will also include information about the other artists affiliated with Anew Music and details of the services and products Anew Music can provide. To update you on the changes, however, I can let you know that the last 24 months have been interesting ones for the rag-tag collection of musicians who form Druidspear. Ian, Jayne and Paul have left the current gigging line up, Paul to play with Birmingham based group Prussian Blue whilst Jayne, with the help of Ian, is persuing her solo career. your humble host has joined the gigging line up along with keyboard wizard "Stick" and part-time 'Spear guitarist Andy Thorpe has become a full-time member of the team. Gigging visitations and additional recording input has been provided by other erstwhile musicians of the 'Spear scene. Many a gig has been gigged including a triumphant set at the 1999 UK Pagan Federation Conference in Croydon.
The recording of the new Druidspear studio album "Lord Vervain" is well under way with a predicted release date of "sometime this year".
